Today mom decided to try a new game and I loved it!!! I can't wait to play again tomorrow. Here's a video from today.

Long time No Boo

I almost totally forgot that I had this blog. My little Morkie memory isn't that sharp.
So I have been up to the same old routine, going to work with mom, playing fetch and barking at the customers, etc. But now I have a new hobby! Chasing birds out in the sales yard! When mom isn't looking I sneak out the side door and chase the birds! They are really fast and hard to catch, but I will never give up! For some reason tho, every time I go outside mom comes outside and yells at me to go back inside. I don't want to stay inside!

The other day Mom came home with a present for me! Here's a picture!

Pool Party!!!

This morning Mom kept telling me we were going to a party, the last time she took me to a party there was loud music and weird looking people and I didn't like it at all, PLUS there were 4 cats that I didn't like and they kept trying to sniff me and bat at my face. Cats are really weird.
But today's party was much different and much more fun! It was a pool party! Mom's friend Molly has a big yard and I got to run around like crazy!!! And I made a new friend today, his name is Charles, He was kinda scary and hyper at first but then he settled down and we played. Molly put him on this leach thing and I teased him cause I could run farther than him and he couldn't catch me. Then I rolled around in some poop and mom was not very happy with that, but I like rolling in poop! Me and Charles both got to go in the pool too to cool off! We had so much fun! Thanks Molly for letting me swim in your pool!

Fen Nature Preserve "Boo-venture"

Today Mom and Jerry took me on a hike through Fen Nature Preserve. It was nice but very hot. Mom brought lots of water for me to drink and to pour on me. I got to chase some geese for the first time, but they weren't as fun to chase as little birds like robins. After our hike we came home where Mom and Jerry found 8, that's right EIGHT ticks in my fur. Luckily none had latched on yet and Mom always treats me with Frontline, but still, 8 ticks is gross. Mom thinks that my adventures should just be at the beach from now on, and I'm totally ok with that. But I did have lots of fun. I'll post some pictures from the hike.

I like to make Caves

So since not much exciting has been happening lately here are some pictures my mommy took.

I also like to be like mom and rest my head on pillows when I take naps...


This is my cousin Hawk, I don't like him very much right now cause he's too hyper and scares me.

Not such a good day

Today mom banished me to the counter because I was barking too much. I didn't mean to bark so much, I was just having a off day, can you blame me? It's a bagillion degrees out and I was so bored in bed all day yesterday (mom was home sick with the strep)
I guess I'm stuck on the counter til we go home :(

Fourth of July

Well like last year I was in the parade with Hawthorn Gardens on top of the float in a giant planter, smiling at all the parade watchers. It was really hot but mom had plenty of water and ice cubes for me. I watched as Grandpa Bill, Matt, Adam, Joan, and Jerry handed out packs of flowers to the people standing on the street. Everyone kept saying how cute I was and kept taking my picture, what do these strangers want with a picture of me?
No pictures of this year have surfaced, however we have a few from last year.


On Saturday the 3rd mom brought me to a big party at work, there was so much food and I hung out around the grills and food tables picking up crumbs that everyone dropped. I even stole some french fries from this little girl named molly, she was kind of annoy cause she kept grabbing my leash so that's why I stole her fries. They were yummy! Later when it got dark out mom and Jerry took me into the grass by the road and we watched the sky light up with these really loud flashing lights, I was more preoccupied by the group of people to our left that I was pretty sure were bad news, but mom and Jerry didn't like me growling and barking at them. After all the loud lights were over we went home and went to bed.

It was a very busy weekend but I am glad to be back at work guarding the store from... well... I just like to hang out and sniff out all the people.
